An industry veteran, Jeff has substantial experience with residential and commercial refinance and purchase transactions, including multi-state commercial refinance and purchase transactions. In his current role, he also reviews transactions, handles legal issues, and maintains strong client relationships. As an attorney and entrepreneur, Jeff served as a corporate securities and real estate lawyer for Benesch before founding and operating multiple title agencies. He co-authored Legal Briefs (Macmillan 1995). In January 2023, he and his business partner, Murray Davis, sold their remaining title agencies to Fidelity National Title Company. Jeff has been involved in a number of businesses over the years, including real estate, restaurants, and hospitality. He has extensive community banking board experience, having served as an organizer and director of First Bexley Bank and then as a director of First Financial Bancorp. Jeff is currently a director of Fortuna Bank.

Jeff is very active in local civic and charitable organizations and has served as Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Columbus Jewish Foundation and the Columbus Jewish Community Center. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, he earned a bachelor’s degree from Emory University and a J.D. from Ohio State University College of Law.
