Kara Phillips serves as Escrow Assistant for Fidelity National Title’s Columbus National Commercial Services (NCS) operation. Kara entered the title industry in 1999, working for a major national insurance company’s relocation department. She then moved on to a small law firms where she gained more exposure to the residential side of the business. In 2003, Kara joined the Columbus NCS where she has served in various underwriting support and escrow capacities. Her duties have included reviewing searfches to draft commitments, coordinating large recording projects and disbursing transactions. Currently, her main focus is working on HUD loan refinances and loan modifications.
